Scottish Music

I love music and like to keep up with latest bands coming out of Scotland and the U.K. One of my favorites at the moment is Frightened Rabbit, from Selkirk. The Midnight Organ Fight was top class and I love their recent single:

Other bands from Scotland worth checking out:

  5. I'm liking 'Stornoway. New Single 'I saw you blink' - pity though they're from Oxford, although their name may get them on the list

How about Lloyd Cole's Commotions..Lloyd is 100% english (living in MA) but I think his band were Glasgow Uni buddies.

Have to repectfully disagree on Cocteau Twins. Heaven or Las Vegas is a classic, I got my monies worth out of that cd. Liz Frazer is still releasing great tracks.

    Thankfully you missed out Runrig..RIP
